Sonia Sanz began her journey as a painter in 2015, following a distinguished career of over 40 years as an interior designer. Her background in design informs her artistic practice, giving her a refined understanding of color, form, composition, contrast, and lighting — essential elements that seamlessly translate into her work on canvas.

Primarily self-taught, Sanz has enhanced her skills through various classes and workshops, yet she continues to develop her practice independently. Her transition from design to painting reflects a lifelong creative vision, now expressed through a deeply personal and evolving visual language.
