Maury is a contemporary fine art painter based in Florida, creating serene, vividly colored works inspired by nature and her childhood in the Puerto Rican countryside. Her compositions balance harmony, contrast, and strong design elements.

A former New Jersey public school art teacher, Maury refined her diverse techniques through years of teaching and was honored with the New Jersey Governor’s “Teacher of the Year” Award. She has been recognized for her contributions to the arts and community in New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and New York, and her work has been exhibited in numerous national and international museums and galleries.

Since retiring from teaching in 2011, Maury has devoted herself fully to painting and traveling. She has taught fine art and workshops in major universities, museums, libraries, and community organizations, and has created multiple public murals.
