Galería Botello was established in 1953 by artist Ángel Botello and his wife, Christiane Auguste, originally under the name Galería Las Antillas at the Caribe Hilton Hotel. It is currently located in a beautifully preserved 400-year-old Spanish colonial building on Calle del Santo Cristo in Old San Juan. 

The gallery features Botello’s own works, including paintings, bronze sculptures, lithographs, and linocuts. The collection also includes a diverse selection of local artists, showcasing an eclectic mix of art, including rare santos and unique ceramic pieces. Today, Galería Botello continues to be a cultural landmark and a vital part of the island’s artistic heritage.
